HP’s NBO is a program for HP Partners that specifically measures prior shipments to a registered account.  If no shipments of product (same product category) have taken place in the prior 12 months, the account is considered ‘new’.  If shipments have taken place in the prior 12 months, the account is not considered new.  NBO is stackable with Volume Big Deal pricing, but only when the NBO is submitted first.   NBO is partner-nominated via the Deal Registration process.  NBO discounts range from 3% to 7% list.

HP’s Big Deal program is for HP Partners that have an end-user driven special pricing request.  The opportunity must exceed $50,000 in order to be considered.
