Industry Weapon is a digital media company specializing in designing and developing content management systems as well as products and services that enable its subscribers to publish multi-media content to digital signs, video walls, interactive kiosks, mobile phones, desktop computers, IP Phones and more. The company was founded in 2003 by CEO, David Wible as a brand and business development firm. In April of 2007 David joined forces with COO, Craig Hanna, and CTO, William Chufo, by merging with their private-labeled eCommerce and multi-media company, Adroit Concepts. In February of 2008, the company recognized an opportunity to transition its content management software business model to focus on the digital signage industry and to provide a simpler way for marketing and communications customers to design, share and manage digital content with their target audience. In May of 2008, they launched their CommandCenterHD content management platform along with Free 24/7 Support and Free Unlimited Personalized Training.
CommandCenterHD quickly recognized success, most notably for its ease of use and flexibility to scale based on user demand. To accommodate their customer’s requests, Industry Weapon engineered their content management system, products and services to function with multiple manufacturer’s products and operating systems. In 2009 they adapted their “Any Device” model, which enables the CommandCenterHD platform to support the needs and product affinities of their customers as well as the latest hardware and software technology innovations.
In 2012, Industry Weapon released their FlicksEDU product line. FlicksEDU is an online training tool aimed at providing educators and team leaders with a simple platform to create and share instructional videos and documentation with their students and / or employees. It also provides the student or employee with the ability to not only watch the videos or download the documentation, but also to provide feedback to the educator or team lead. FlicksEDU features several reporting tools to capture analytics around the adoption of videos and documentation and ties these analytics directly to the students or employees success rates.
With 2013 came their newest service, Big Data. Industry Weapon currently employees a team of data scientists who work with their customers to analyze information being produced via digital media playback, content experiences and audience interactions with interactive kiosks and mobile devices. The data scientists are able to spot trends in the reporting to help Industry Weapon customers make educated decisions on their digital media objectives. The Big Data program also leverages Industry Weapon’s dynamic image and video engines to automatically create personalized content based on changes in the customer’s environment.
