AML was founded in 1983 to respond to a need in the marketplace for high-performance, yet  affordable, barcode data collection devices. Since that time we have used the expertise that we  have developed to engineer and manufacture handheld computers, vehicle mounted computers, and stationary computers in the form of kiosks.

Our products are currently in use by more than 10,000 customers across North America and Europe. Our customers range from small Mom-and-Pop companies, to emerging SMBs, to large corporations  such as Sherwin-Williams, Target, Radio Shack, Avaya, Lazy Boy, General Electric, Family Dollar, Ethan Allen, and many more. AML means “American Made”. AML products are engineered,  manufactured, and serviced in our Dallas-area facility. That means our  knowledge base is HERE, not halfway around the world. Conveniently located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, we are never more than  two time zones away from our primary customer base.

We Control our Product Design from Start to Finish

With in-house engineering, we do our own mechanical and industrial design, electrical engineering, and firmware development. With no out-sourcing of development, we have complete control of the design cycle of our products.

Handhelds come with batteries and any necessary cables. Charging cradles come with power supplies and line cords. Some products even come with software. There are no surprises or disappointments.
