Hewlett Packard, Inc. has addressed a potential vulnerability in the x86 CPU architecture concerning a side channel analysis method. Malicious code using this method could infer data values from memory. OS patches are required to mitigate this issue. For certain products, processor microcode updates are also being released via the UEFI/BIOS releases to further enhance platform resiliency.
