The Wall from Samsung makes its Hollywood Debut

Whether you’re walking a red carpet, exploring a gallery or hosting a viewing party for some of your closest friends, The Wall by Samsung transforms every space into an event fit for a Hollywood star.

What makes the Wall so special? The Wall’s large-format MicroLED display delivers pure blacks and vibrant colors all while maintaining perfect brightness meaning viewers no longer have to dim the lights to enjoy content at optimum levels.

From living spaces to grand ballrooms, The Wall captivates audiences in every environment. The Wall’s customizable, modular design ranges from a compact 73” display to a grand 583” and can accept 2K, 4K and 8K resolutions.

This month, Bad Robot Production Company – owned by famed producer, JJ Abrams – hosted the US-Ireland Alliance’s 15th annual Oscar Wilde Awards. Guests walked the red carpet stopping to take pictures in front of The Wall which was used as a digital step-and-repeat. Once inside the venue, The Wall was used to display breathtaking images admired by guests throughout the evening.

The bright lights of Hollywood continued to shine on The Wall at the Annenberg Museum’s newest exhibit, “Vanity Fair: Hollywood Calling.”  The exhibition officially opened on February 9th with an Oscar viewing party that drew in an eager crowd. After walking through the exhibition, guests were invited to watch the 92nd Academy Awards on The Wall.  The 219” display is the first U.S. installation of an 8K version of The Wall and will remain until the closing of the exhibition on July 26, 2020.

Across Hollywood, production companies, museums, exhibitors and businesses are taking a page out of the Bad Robot and the Annenberg Museum playbooks by realizing the future of events and movie going experiences with Samsung state of the Art LED award winning digital signage.
