MX8 Released with Alpha-Mode Keyboard

LXE Product Management is pleased to announce the availability of a new keyboard for the MX8, the Alpha-Mode Numeric Keyboard. Alpha-mode is activated by pressing the "Alpha" key. While in alpha-mode, one letter is mapped to a key. This is in contrast to the original MX8 keyboard where the alphabetic characters are mapped to the number keys, like a mobile phone.

With release of this new keyboard, two new keyboard options are now available for the MX8, the original 32-key Numeric Triple-tap Alpha and the new 32-key alpha-mode Numeric Keyboard. The "K" option class has been added the MX8 option structure for the keyboard options. Either keyboard option is available at no additional charge.

With a compact, lightweight and rugged design, the MX8 is targeted at intensive scanning applications in light-industrial environments.

TX700 Production Now in the US

LXE Product Management is pleased to announce that the TX700 vehicle mount computer has now been fully integrated into LXE's manufacturing, ordering and pricing systems.

Previously the TX700 was ordered as bundled features under specific configuration model numbers. Now the TX700 can be dynamically configured by individual options to create the custom combination of features your application requires.
